We’ve been reading to Miss Ella Bear long before she was born. When I was pregnant, Ella Bear enjoyed listening to nursery rhymes (One, Two Buckle My Shoe always got a bunch of kicks). I am assuming that a bunch of kicks meant she liked it. After she was born we always cuddled up and read to Ella. She was often more fixated on who was reading to her rather than what was being read to her. Now that she’s a little older she’s starting to enjoy the books! She looks at the pictures, plays with the pages, and often will start chattering as soon as you open a book. I hope that she will continue to develop a love for books and reading. Story time is definitely a favorite time of day for me!
