Garage Sale-ing... Yep We've Been Doing It.

We have a new Saturday hobby at the Thompson house… GARAGE SALE-ING! Yep, we’ve been garage sale-ing at our house the past few weekends. Elle and I sometime hit up a garage sale when we’re out and about on Thursday and Friday, but we’ve been heading out on Saturday mornings too. Scott makes yummy coffee, I pack Elle’s bag, and we head out for a little while scouting out baby garage sales. We’ve had some great luck too! I never in a million years would have thought I would be buying clothes for Ella at a garage sale (I used to garage sale for books for my classroom), but we’ve gotten so many ADORABLE clothes for hardly any money. Some of the clothes still have tags on them and I only buy things that are in great shape… like “you-can’t-event-tell-it-has-been-worn” shape. Plus, we have fun getting to know the neighborhoods in our area. Check out some of our finds…

We've found even more adorable clothes, but they'll packed away for the winter and next summer. Of course we've gotten Ella lots of adorable new clothes (like the cute jumper and sweater we found at BabyGap last Friday... super on sale), but we've been enjoying our treasure hunting and saving oodles on Ella's wardrobe in the process!
