We LOVE Sunday Mornings!

We absolutely adore Sunday mornings at our house!!! Why you ask? Take a look below...

We play with Ella!

We read the newspaper....

And so does Ella. She loved this article about the Children's Museum. She loves looking at babies and kids!
We drink coffee and yummy coffee drinks... Scott makes really yummy Mocha Frappes (using this recipe). I really do recommend the recipe! So tasty!

We try to do the crossword puzzle. We usually end up texting my dad and sister for help. Eventually Scott uses google to help. Jamie introduced us to the LA Times Online Crossword Puzzle. The Monday puzzle is much easier!!! We can usually solve the entire puzzle on our own.

Scott clips the coupons and I read the ads.
And we play with Ella some more!

Art Project!

Ella and I ran out of thank you cards... so we decided to make our own!

We painted those little feet and printed them on the paper. She really enjoyed getting her feet painted. Lots of smiles from her!

Here is Ella with her beautiful artwork!

We were a little tired after all that hard work...

New TV

Early this morning I asked Ella what we should do today, and she replied:

For those of you who don't speak baby, she said, "Go buy a new TV, one that is flatter and has a higher resolution." She has a point: I don't want Ella to grow up knowing tube TV's, so for her sake, I took the initiative and bought a flat screen TV.

Ella was a lot of help making the decision. She clearly wanted a Sony 32" LCD.

Here's the old one:

And the new one:
Momma won't let Ella enjoy this piece of technology until she is much older, so I will have to put in the hours.

3 Months.. and Getting SO BIG!

Our baby girl is three months! I can’t believe that she’s already 93 days old! She’s growing and changing so much each and every day.

The Big Move...

This is where Ella Bear has been sleeping...

And this is where Ella Bear moved to last Monday...

Unfortunately, this is how Ella Bear has felt about sleeping in her crib...

This anti-sleep campaign has left for one very tired Mommy and one very tired Daddy! We've spent the week reading about baby sleep in books (such as  this one) and in online articles. Ella Bear has gotten better. Last night she slept from 6:45pm until midnight, from midnight until 4am, and from 4am until 7am. And she's also on her second nap of the day in her crib and it is only 11:30am. Hopefully things will continue to get better.
