Reading with Grandma...

Ella LOVES Grandma's "Baby Animals" book. She is always reading (aka... chewing) the book when we go to Grandma's and Grandpa's!
Where is Ella? Hiding in the book!
No idea why this picture won't rotate... Ella looking at her book.

Ella Bear Loves the Swings at the Park!

Painted Toenails!

A few weeks back, while hanging out at Grandpa and Grandma's, we decided to paint Elle's toenails.

First Ella had to hang out with uncle Ryan for a little while.

Then Auntie Jamie and I swooped Ella away for a baby pedicure! She wasn't sure what to think...

What's for Dinner? Rice Cereal!

Ella Bear has been so interested in food lately (watching us intently as we eat, reaching for our silverware, etc.). So we decided to give Ella a bowl of rice cereal. She loved it…

Elle was pretty excited...
Playing with the box!

She can hardly wait... look at that giant smile!

Here comes the first bite.
Yummy!

Yes, I'll have some more...

Yummy!

I'll eat my bib now.

More please!!!

All done!

Look at all that cereal all over her face!

All gone!!! We couldn't believe she ate it all!

Ella Bear is 5 Months Old Today!

Happy Girl! She's gotten SO BIG! It is hard to believe that Ella and Mr. Bear used to be the same height!

It was a COLD, COLD Walk

Every day Ella and I take a walk in the afternoon. Usually around 2pm. Last week our walks were COLD! We really had to bundle up! I haven't been able to find a fall coat for Ella. I have looked and looked, but the smallest size I have found is 12 months. Oh well. I've been wrapping Ella in blankets for our walk. Even though it was cold, Ella Bear still enjoyed the time outside.

Ready to go! All bundled up!
She's sticking out her tongue. Goofing girl.

Trying to smile in the cold and looking into the sun!

Hi Auntie Beth!

Scott’s sister Beth recently moved to Houston, Texas (She despises the cold weather of MN and she got a new job as a personal trainer at a gym down there). Her previous job was aboard a cruise ship… and she often stopped in Puerto Rico. She gave this little top to Elle when she was born. We thought we’d snap some pictures and post them for Beth. Hi Auntie Beth!

This is Elle's new goofy face that she makes ALL the time.

Serious Ella.

"Enough Mom and Dad!"

"Okay... I'll give one more smile!"

$1 = A LOT OF FUN!

When I was out garage sale-ing a couple of weeks ago (my goodness Elle and I found some adorable clothes) we came across a few fun toys that we picked up. I paid a $1 for all of the fun toys below!

Being a bit of a germ freak (I did teach kindergarten for the past few years… kids can be SO dirty) I soaked the toys, washed the toys, soaked the toys, and washed them again before ever letting Elle touch them. Additionally, the house they came from was extremely neat and clean. Elle loves her new toys…

Of course... everything goes in the mouth!

Concentrating very hard... she really wants those blocks! They have all kinds of fun textures.

These might be her favorite. We have them attached to her jumperoo, in her carseat, and a couple other chains laying around the house. She loves the different textures... and of course she usually is eating them.

All SMILES!
